Ryan Andre
Mr. Andre is honored to lead the Grapevine High School Band program as the Director of Bands. Prior to being named director of bands, he served as Grapevine High School’s Associate Director of Bands.
Since joining the Mustang Band family in 2024, Mr. Andre has been an integral part of the program's success. As the primary marching band instructor, he has been instrumental in leading the band to consecutive 6th-place finishes at the UIL Area marching contest in 2024 and 2025 while also achieving multiple class AA championships at Bands of America Regional events. His leadership has also extended to the concert stage, where he directed the non-varsity concert band to consecutive First Division ratings at UIL Concert & Sight-Reading evaluations in 2025 and 2026. In 2025, the non-varsity ensemble was recognized as a citation of excellence winner and a medal of distinction recipient.
Mr. Andre holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Texas Christian University (2018) and a Master of Music Education degree from Texas Tech University (2024). Mr. Andre began his teaching career as an assistant band director at mesquite high school in Mesquite Isd followed by serving as an assistant band director at Centennial High School in Frisco Isd.
Mr. Andre is deeply connected to the local community, which has shaped his life as both a student and an educator. He is excited to continue the culture of Excellence at Grapevine High School. Go Mustangs!
