Saturday, August 3rd – MANDATORY BAND FAIR - Open from 9am-2pm –HMS SAC (cafeteria). This is a come and go event. At least one parent and the student need to attend. Here you will drop off required forms (find them on our website under the Parents tab – Forms. Print them off and fill them out please), sign up to volunteer with our boosters, visit the spirit booth if you’d like some spirit wear.
New Members – try on marching shoes and get your size so we can get the shoe order in. We order these items at band fair and they are delivered to GHS and distributed to the students. You’ll also need a band polo.
These items are in addition to the band fee:
Marching shoes - approximately $41 (for incoming students or if you need a replacement)
Band Polo - approximately $23 (for incoming students or if you need a replacement)
These items are not included in the band fee because students do not need to purchase them every year. They buy them their Freshman year and they can last through high school unless the student grows a lot or wears out the item.
