Katie Jobe
Katie Jobe is an active percussionist and educator in the DFW metroplex.
Ms. Jobe received her Masters of Percussion Performance from Texas Christian University in 2023, and her Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2021. At TCU, she served as a graduate assistant for the percussion studio and was a part of their performance at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention in 2022. As a performer, Ms. Jobe was a member of the front ensemble for Guardians Drum and Bugle Corps in 2016 and 2017, and Fort Worth-based Vigilantes Indoor Percussion in 2017 and 2018. She was a member of the Maverick Marching
Band at UTA for four years, and performed in the bands, orchestras, and percussion ensembles of both UTA and TCU, as well as the TCU Steel Band.
As an educator, Ms. Jobe has worked with multiple school districts in the DFW area, including Azle ISD, Fort Worth ISD, Coppell ISD, Burleson ISD, and Keller ISD. On top of her experience with teaching at the 6-12 level, Ms. Jobe also has experience teaching at the drum corps level as a member of the front ensemble staff for Guardians in 2022 and Spirit of Atlanta in 2023.
Ms. Jobe currently resides in Hurst, TX, where she shares a house with three of her closest friends from college. The four of them have a 12 year old black cat named Bobby who is not smart but she is very cute.
