Jackson Sandre
Jackson Sandre, a recent graduate of Baylor University, will join the staff at Grapevine High School as he begins his teaching career in the upcoming school year. Originally from Round Rock, Texas, Mr. Sandre is a graduate of Cedar Ridge High School and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Baylor in May 2025.
While at Baylor, Mr. Sandre held multiple leadership roles in the Golden Wave Band, serving as a squad leader, section leader, and member of the undergraduate staff. He performed with the Baylor Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Concert Jazz Ensemble, and several saxophone quartets. He was also an active performer in musical theater productions throughout the Waco area.
In spring 2025, Mr. Sandre completed his student teaching at Dripping Springs High School, where he was named Baylor’s Outstanding Band Student Teacher of the Year. In addition to his teaching experience, he has worked as a counselor at Baylor’s summer band and orchestra camps and served as a marching technician at both Troy High School and Dripping Springs High School.
Mr. Sandre is affiliated with the Texas Music Educators Association, the National Association for Music Education, and the Kappa Kappa Psi honorary band fraternity.
He is incredibly excited to begin his teaching career at Grapevine High School and looks forward to working with the students, staff, and community in the year ahead.
